During the 60’s and 70’s many Argentinian stations were kind enough to include a pennant as a souvenir. Times has changed.

This rare argentinian was logged in Lemmenjoki on January 25, 2010 gving and ID as “AM 1500, La Radio de la Gente” exactly as is stated in the station “logo” on the net. During a previous pedition to Lemmenjoki, some years ago, Pertti Äyräs and myself logged LRI214 R Bonaerense, Lavallol, BA also on 1500. A short email from Nuclear without a verisigner confirmed my audio clip.

This surprising argentinian was heard in Lemmenjoki in February 2011 with a weak but clear id “AM 1120 Emisora Santiago Y Copla , La Radio de los Provincianos y Santiaguenos”. AM 1120 is normally blocked by Rádio Rural, Porto Alegre, RS, Brasil but during southernly cx also Radio Salto, Uruguay is quite commonly logged. More rare ones are argentinians AM Tango and Radio Sarmiento. Oscar H. Gutierrez, Administrador kindly verified my report of Emisora Santiago y Copla.
Radio del Litoral in Concordia, Entre Ríos on 560 was surpisingly heard in Lemmenjoki in October 2010. The frequency seldom lets any Argentinians stations through. LV1 Radio Colón, San Juan has been heard a few times here but not recently while the two listed Nacionals still remain to be heard as far as I can remember. Educadora do Maranhao, Sao Luis, MA is the dominating station here during cx both towards the southern and the northern parts of South America. This rare argentinian was heard in Lemmenjoki on October 24, 2011 during a very good but short La Plata opening. Luis María Facio replied in a couple of hours with the below email:
