This station has become relatively common during the last years. On December 25, 1017 the station was heard in the Sarvsalö QTH (Borgå) with a periodically nice signal before sunrise. Several time checks such as “”En La Voz de La Unión, son las doce 44 minútos” was heard in breaks between pieces of music. The station confirmed by a message on Messenger.
During a relatively good opening towards Ecuador on January 21, 2018 (LEM393) this station was phading up for around one minute with an ID followed by typical Ecuadorian music. In the ID the “1340 kilociclos amplitud modulada” is crystal clear but the beginning of the ID “Esta es….” remained unclear. After a check by Henrik Klemetz I sent a tentative audio file to the station and received a confirming answer that the audio was indeed coming from La Voz de su Amigo. This became my verified Ecuadorian station # 40 on AM and # 73 including also short wave verifications.
Radio Onda Azul was heard on January 21, 2018 in Lemmenjoki with a pretty good signal on AM 640 for some 20 mintues. around 0730 UTC. The station was previously heard in the Nordic region on shortwaves 4801v kHz 1989-1991, but this was the first AM logging of the station. The program heard at this date and time was “Rutas de Recuerdo” with the anchor Sinecio Bustinza with whom I and Henrik Klemetz have had an intensive contact since the date of my reception report to the station in early February 2018. Radio San Luís was heard on January 21, 2018 during LEM393. The station was heard with more or less steady signal between 0730-0830 UTC and my reception report was confirmed by Luchito Torres, Conductor de Radio.
Radio La Voz, Manta, Provincia de Manabí surprised by phading up over Lima´s Radio Bethel- Also Radio Carraviz, Juliaca was heard on the frequency on January 20, 2018 during LEM393. The station gave a nice ID before disappearing:”La Voz, La Voz – en todas partes – La Voz 15-70″. A nice email and a Messenger message confirmed my reception.
Simultaneously with the logging of Radio La Voz del Allincapac 770 in the same City of Macusani, Radio Altura with 1000 watts was fading upp for more than 10 minutes on 730, a frequency hosted by several strong stations such as Montreal, Bogotá etc. The station announced, e.g., the web address “radioaltura.com” on January 24, 2018. Also for this small peruvian several tries to get a confirmation was executed and finally a short message arrived via Messenger.
OAU6X R Candarave transmitting from Ilabaya (Tacna) on AM 1300 was heard with a decent signal in Sarvsalö on November 28, 2016 during a strong opening. After som tries Eddy Reyes confirmed my reception with a nice email containing also two studio audio files.

ZYK602 R Jauense was surprisingly fading up on a frequency occupied by more than 20 Brazilians. This happened on January 16 around 03 UTC. To my knowledge this station has not been heard before in the Nordics. My mp3 was confirmed by email signed by Equipe Jauense-AM. Muito obrigado!
La Nueva Radio Ya was heard during LEM379 in January with an astonishing peak on January 24 around 0715 UTC over the Cuban. A Facebook message confirmed this nice reception.
One of the best loggings during LEM379 was without doubt R Lautaro in Talca on 970. Incredible that a 1 /0.25 kW Chilean station completely can take over this frequency which is the home of common “high powers” such as R Universal, Montevideo and R 9-70 Asunción not to forget a bunch of common Brazilians. But, this morning we had a very selective and strong Chile opening between 05-07 UTC as mentioned previously. A nice email was received today. A nice birthday present indeed!
